"There are not enough superlatives to describe our experience with Home Fridays.  It has taken an enormous load off our minds as absentee owners to have them looking after our home. They are extremely detail oriented and notice things we might not see even if we were there - like moisture around a window, and a crack in our hot tub.  When they noticed the hot tub crack, they called the manufacturer in another state to inquire about the warranty, and tracked down a local company to get an estimate on the repair. On another occasion, when the hot tub developed a slow leak in a duct, they brought over a hose from their house to let the renters keep the water level topped off until the scheduled repair.

Last December, our furnace died in the middle of a freezing cold spell – and we had vacation renters in the house! We called Home Fridays on a Saturday night – and in record time they arrived at the house with eight heaters to keep the tenants warm. They had already investigated other accommodations for the renters, but the group told them they wanted to stay put – in large part due to the prompt and caring service they received. Home Fridays had a repairman in the next day. It turned out that the part we needed had to be ordered, and Home Fridays monitored the situation over the next few days – putting a heater in the garage to keep the pipes warm and checking on the renters to make sure they were keeping warm and happy. This group was so happy they have already made a deposit to reserve a return week for next December!!

Home Fridays’ knowledge of local vendors and prices really saves us time and money.  They referred us to the local alarm company, priced and secured regular spa maintenance service, collected bids and a referral for painters, took delivery of new furniture, and arranged for snow removal during a big storm. They remind us when it is time for winter or spring yard cleanup and get bids and have the work done. They had a hornet’s nest removed immediately after an allergic renter reported it, so that the next group of renters could enjoy the backyard and deck without annoyances. When we were having some interior painting done, Home Fridays let the painters in and monitored their work – even making them redo some spots that didn’t meet their satisfaction!   Home Fridays even drove by our home once at no charge after an unusually heavy snowstorm, just to make sure everything was ok. 

Home Fridays is also the primary emergency contact on our alarm system. Once, when the alarm went off, they called and reported that they had already been there – they had checked every room for missing inventory, inspected all windows and doors, and ensured that everything was secure.  By the time we found out the alarm had gone off it had all been taken care of and we didn’t even have to get worried. Home Fridays handles the cleaners, laundry, inspection, and inventory check after each vacation rental. We also just leave the house to be cleaned after we visit ourselves. Whenever we are coming down, Home Fridays makes sure the heat is on and hot tub turned up and ready for us, and we arrive to a warm house with a nice welcome note. For my birthday, my husband ordered a dozen roses and had Home Fridays pick them up and put them there to greet me when we arrived! It’s so nice to feel like we are on vacation ourselves when we visit.

These are just a few of the stories we could tell about Home Fridays – they have been taking care of our home since late 2005 - with initiative, professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering courteousness and friendliness. They elevate customer service to a new level. My husband and I often look at each other in amazement and comment how fortunate we are to have Home Fridays. I always remind him with a smile that I was the one who found them! We can't imagine not having Home Fridays there to look after our home. We truly do not have a care in the world knowing they are taking care of things. We would be more than happy to share our experience with anyone considering using Home Fridays."
